You want to grab people’s attention. The first thing people will notice is your headline. Have you grabbed their attention. Think what made you read this article. Was it the layout, something you were interested in or did it look interesting?
You cannot move past this step unless you have attracted the reader to your article.
Connect with Your Reader.
Sounds fairly simple. Your reader wants information about your chosen topic. They want to feel like you are talking to them as a normal person, in a normal way. Unless your target audience are professors in your chosen subject keep things simple so everyone can understand.
Help your Reader With A Solution.
Most people who use search engines are either looking for a product to buy or they want some information on a particular subject. Try to come up with a solution to a problem for the reader, make them want to read more and take your advice.
Show your Reader What The Solution Will Look Like To Them.
This might sound a bit complicated but if we look at weight loss and you are offering a form of exercise explain to them how they will feel after the weight lose. They might feel more comfortable and confident. They might run a 5 k race, they might wear the outfit they purchased at the beginning of the year.
Get Your Reader To Take Action.
You want your reader to buy from you. If you have gained their interest and trust throughout your article now get them to take some action, whether it’s click here or do this. Don’t be afraid to link into your other sites whether it’s to buy from you or your affiliate or sign up for a newsletter or emails.
So they are 5 steps for you to take. But it’s important for you to remember you must take action and get started. you may have some great ideas but until you put them onto the web no one will know. Practise as you go and it will get easier but you must take those first steps.
