If you know anything about Internet marketing you will have heard about “keyword research”. If you’re just starting out let me quickly explain. “Keyword research” is the research you need to complete before you set up your site to:

This is probably the most important part of creating your site. If you don’t concentrate on this or focus on what keywords you are going to use you will not attract the right traffic and probably won’t do well. Sweeping statement i know but every Guru I have researched tells me the same thing ” this is the most important part of your business”.

It is also the part most people have difficulty with. You see keywords can be divided into three parts:

Each of these tiers brings with it a different sort of traffic. You must find all of these to bring you to the keyword which will make you money. Simple! Well yes and no. You see to really find the money tier word you have to research hundreds of words and this is time consuming. I’m afraid there is no easy way to do this to make sure you have completed your research properly. It is labour intensive and takes time but as this is the most important part of your business then it is worth the time.

There are free tools on the Internet to assist you, just enter the words, free word tracker into Google and it will show you a list of free tools. Then set aside some time each day to research the areas you are interested in.

Remember to remain focused as this is the beginning of the rest of your life. Persevere and you will succeed of this there is no doubt!
